About The Village

Where modern parents come to feel less alone.

The story

The Modern Village started as a group text. Six parents, six time zones, one running conversation about screen time, snacks, and how nobody warns you about three-year-olds.

It grew because the conversation kept being useful. We started inviting child development specialists, sleep experts, and family therapists to weigh in. We started recording episodes. We started a calendar of live sessions. We started a place to publish what we were learning.

Everything you'll find here was made by parents, for parents, with input from people who've spent their careers thinking about kids. No sponsored content disguised as advice. No fear-mongering. No perfect-mom theater.

What we stand for

Real voices first

We publish parents writing honestly about their own kids before we publish anyone telling you how to raise yours.

Expertise on demand

Every health and development article is reviewed by a credentialed specialist. We name them.

No judgment, ever

Different families work differently. We share what works and let you decide what fits.

Community first, content second

The events, the discussions, the long voice notes between members — those are the real product.
